This years fall campout at Von Oven was a great success! Boy Scouts provided some fun and educational stations for the Cub Scouts to enjoy including a water bottle rocket launch, trebuchet and fire starting.
Cubmaster Dana got the pie-in-the-face from the 2020 Popcorn Winners.
A huge shout-out to Cubmaster Dana for earning her Wood Badge. As per scouting.org (https://www.scouting.org/training/adult/woodbadge/), “The purpose of Wood Badge is to develop skilled leaders who can strengthen Scouting units in achieving the mission of the Boy Scouts of America.”
The day was finished up with a 2 mile Night Hike to the Firemen’s Memorial Park in Naperville followed by an evening outdoor movie for all to relax and enjoy!
