Cub Scouts of Pack 567 helped spiff up our Chartered Organization’s front entrance in prep for School’s opening day, August 19th, 2021. After a long year with little motivation to do anything but get by, it was clear the little garden by Beebe School’s sign could use a little love. So we did just that! We even got a shout out from the school Principal, garnering some of the most likes for any post on the school’s Facebook Page. Good press is always welcome and a great way for the community to see us in action. What a difference. Way to go Scouts!
Every Scout Unit has a “CO” (Chartered Organization) that is sort of like the parent of the Unit. We are able to use their building to meet, store our seasonal items, and in return, we help them out as and when able. Typically, Pack 567 helps Beebe with outdoor beautification. While many scouts in Pack 567 attend Beebe School, it is not a requirement to be in 567. In fact, at present writing, Pack 567 has scouts from FIVE different Elementary Schools! We are welcoming to any adventure-seeking KG-5th grader who wants to join!
Cheers!
CM Dana
